A huge congratulations goes out to Our Ladies of Pain of the Royal City Roller Girls, winners of The Fresh and the Furious 2018!


For the second year in a row, Our Ladies of Pain got to drink out of the Sloppy Cup, and bring home some gold ribbons, after winning the final game of the day 107-78 against North Central Roller Derby.

Congratulations also to North Central RD for taking home silver, and Smash Squad for taking bronze!



To all participating teams, thank you for coming, it was so great to watch you play!!







The Fresh and The Furious is a full day tournament jam packed with games played only by the Freshest players! It's a chance to showcase all the new talent and skills learned from Fresh Meat, and give your newest skaters a heck of a lot of track time.

All games are 20 minutes long, and played under the WFTDA ruleset. A player is considered a Fresh player if, as of the tournament date, it has been less than 1 year since they passed the minimum skills test the first time.
